What are we doing here?

The social media phenomenon is affecting the way nonprofits communicate with, market, fundraise, converse and engage our stakeholders. 

The American Red Cross is no exception. As I talk to more employees and volunteers, I can see you’re all eager to adopt some of these tools in your work. So, I started this blog in the hopes that it will serve as a resource.

First things first. What is social media?

My personal definition is broad. It’s any spot on the internet where you can interact with other human beings.
